This sink is the best decision I made in my small kitchen re-do. I was warned that it would be too big for the 12×12′ room but it actually works perfectly. I chose to go with butcher block countertops and the double drainboards protect the counters great from any splashing. Be aware that the drain size is smaller than usual so adjustments may need to be made. Also, be careful when selecting a faucet as many have necks that are way to long or arch very high. You will need a short neck so that the water flows into the basin and not out over it. A too high faucet may cause too much splashing. It is very durable while being unbelievably light. I must be careful when washing certain items such as cast iron skillets, etc because some minor scratching does occur. The good news is that it cleans up beautifully so the scratches that do happen are very difficult to see. I am an avid cook/baker so it has really gotten a workout since we installed it one year ago. All in all, it is really wonderful and unique anchor in my kitchen. I don’t think anyone has walked through there without commenting on how great it is.
